The crew looks terrific! Great work on the painting and the poses look just right!
Incredible work on this Panther. The interior reminds me of the old Bandai 1/48 scale kits that brought decent interior tank features. The camo and crew are excellent. One question; for the markings did you use decals or dry transfers? I especially like the rear turret numbers and how they meshed perfectly with the rear case ejection hatch.
Awesome build and photos. Are there options on how to open the turret.? Can you remove the roof while leaving the turret walls in place?
To TigerII:Hi and thank you :-) decals are stock from kit. I didnt use any special technics, just normal way. I close hatch, then decals were applied and after 10 min a cut it with knife. then more softer has been applied, let it dry and repeat the process if needed again and again. But what is important in my opinion is to use oils to make it dirty same like other way. If I let it be white it will be too much contrast. (sorry for my english) :-)To JBark:
Roof and side or turret is in one piece, but Iam sure you can glue it together and just put the roof out. If Iam right thee is kit from takom Tiger 2 and there are two pieces, turret sides and turret roof. this Panther kit have the turret roof and sides in one piece.
I finally had some time to make feew new photos of details, also i build a stand for full interior open:
That's a very clever display. Looks great.
