While researching the LWS it says it supposed to be able to carry 20 soldiers, but on the inside of the LWS it doesn’t appear that there were any benches to sit on. We’re these added or would they have been added, or was it standing room only ?
Interior photos of LWS are hard to find, but judging from this image, it appears that one would have a rather tight fit shoving 20 fully-equipped soldiers inside, let alone any extra gear, weapons, etc.. Looks like standing room only to me;

interesting that it has a load capacity for 20 soldiers but no seats, unless they could sit on the outside as well and get “fresh air” while bobbing around at sea
