To dream ..... perchance to achieve.

Be patient .... very patient ... maybe DML will finally rerelease this kit.

Don't pay the e-bay prices ... for that kind of money you can get the resin upper hull from Formations and use the Tamiya M4 as a doner kit and have a better kit.

Last ebay auction I watched had the kit selling for in excess of US $60.

Jon's right, the only place I've seen that kit is on Ebay and it goes for really big money. You can probably build what you want by getting some AM parts and converting a more easily found kit. Tank Workshop makes a lot of Sherman stuff.

you best bet is to go the Formations conversion way http://www.formationsmodels.com/ it might end up cheaper too

SHERMAN! Need Help finding a kit of the EARLY M4A1 (Dragon)
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, April 8, 2004 6:11 PM
I would like to build a very early version of the Sherman M4A1. The only kit that I'm aware of that has the 3 piece transmission cover and the cast hull is the Dragon kit (#6048) but I cannot find it available anywhere. Is there another kit manufacturer that makes the early version or is their a source for this Dragon kit that I don't know of? HELP!
