Which 1/35 T-34/85 Kit would you recommend that is inexpensive but has decent quality?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - John 3:16-17
That depends, the new zvezda T-34 looks pretty good. Dragon does a few then AFV club. If you look a scalemates there might be something there.
Never give up, never quit, never stop modelling.
I did the AFV Club one a few years ago,was a nice kit with interior, got the one with the solid hull, not the clear one.
inexpensive,not sure,maybe a Tamiya,but not sure.

Ive built the Tamiya and original Zvezda T-34/85 kits. Both are decent kits for the price with the Tamiya kit building up easier. It is typical Tamiya shake and bake, but being based off the 70’s vintage T-34/76 kits it shares their open sponson bottom overhangs and motorization holes in the lower hull. Both kits would best have their tracks replaced and grill mesh cut out and replaced. I’ve also built the Maquette T-34/76, which is based off of their T-34/85 kit. It is superior in detail, but “modeling skills required”. I have the Dragon T-34/85 in my stash and it looks real nice, but have not yet built it so I can’t comment on fit or ease of assembly. It certainly costs more than Tamiya and Zvezda. One other kit I suggest you might look at is the new Academy T-34/85 kit. That one looks pretty nice.

I've built the vintage Tamiya kit which as SP says pretty much 'shake and bake'. I've also built the Dragon kit, which I thought was pretty good. I have the AFV Club kit which really looks good in the box but haven't started it yet.
Someone here built the Academy kit in a GB, I don't remember who but he really liked it.

Nice! Thank you, guys!
I've got one of the AFV Club ones with the clear upper hull and full interior. It is a very nice kit. I also have several Dragon ones, well detailed and not very expensive on the secondary market.
One of the older Dragon ones on sale for $40 http://dragonusaonline.com/item_detail.aspx?ItemCode=CHC9158
