Finished Academy M1A2 Tusk II
Posted by BusterBunker on Friday, January 31, 2020 12:19 AM

Hello everybody, here is my M1A2 Tusk II from Academy. I thought it came out great. I like it dirty. Some of decals are in random places because I think they look great in those spots. Was not going for realism. Also, I did not weather the tracks yet. EnjoyBig Smile

That looks like a lot of work, I like it.

That's cool! As I said we don't get nearly enough modern stuff here, I've been geeking out over the M60s and it's nice to see an Abrams.

Welcome to the forum and hope you post more stuff!

I only know the major players in older Armor ( Sherman's, Panzers/Tigers, and a few Ruskies)I would be better with aircraft from that period. Thank you.

It actually was not that bad. The basket on back of the turret took the most time.

Seeing a M2HB out o nthe barrel of an Abrams really makes me feel out of touch with the modern world.
Such is retired military life, I suppose.

The grime looks good; other than it looks a little bare not being covered in crew stuff, camo nets and the like.

And it very much looks like the Motor Poll NCOIC is about to ruin the weekend of some of his under-perfromers with rather a lot of cleanup duty.
