[WIP] Tamiya 1:35 Universal Carrier
Posted by skarz on Saturday, February 15, 2020 8:03 PM

This is part one of a build series inspired by the Battlefield V video game series. I am still learning how various products interact with each other, i.e. the Testors Dull Coat caused some cracking / stippling in the Aqua Gloss which fortunately is not very noticeable. Also I am working in my rust and grime streaking. Last thing I need to do is add some dust and dirt buildup to the tracks and it should be done.

I'll be watching as I have the #175 kit to build. Did you encounter any issues with the kit during the assembly?

The Bren Carrier Kit is one of Tamiya’s Golden Oldies. It builds up nice and easy.

I built the original back in the day, but do not recall any issues with it. I also have one of the more recent reissues, but haven't gotten to it.

Streaking looks good, not overdone.Sometimes we can fall in love with new techniques and over do them.
