I've seen M8's with white interiors and OD floors as described also. The M20 should be OD in the open compartment, white in the driver's. Whoever restored the M20 and gave it white in the 'fighting compartment' messed up... but then, it's their vehicle, eh? ... a lot better than the M20 I have (none!).

Worth pointing out that the Italeri M8/ M20 is less than half the price of the Tamiya version (in the UK anyway), has a wider range of fittings, and , with the application of a modicum of modelling skills, can be made in an at-least-as-good model.
Cute and cuddly, boys, cute and cuddly!

I've got the kit but i haven't built it yet, but it is a nice kit. According to my research i agree with robert and robin that the interior is supposed to be white

There's some excellent interior pics of an M-20 being restored at the following site.

This should help a little with the interior.

Actually, my limited resources (RP Hunnicutt Armored Car book and Squadron US Armored Cars in Action) show the interior is white. For the M8, the interior is white below the turret ring with an OD floor. Even the 37mm ammo rack is white.

There are some really nice photos of a restored M20 that clearly show the white interior even up to the edges of the superstructure, but since this is a restored vehicle, the colors could be suspect. The floor is OD like the M8, but the bench seats look OD or some other dark color. Inside of the driver's hatches were OD as well.

I have the Tamiya M8 and the Italeri M20. Big difference in quality. Not that the Italeri kit is bad, it's just that the Tamiya kit is better.

Wes , I was thinking of getting that kit. What is the interior color supposed to be?

Does Tamiya make a M8 or do they only make the M20. May the Darkside powers help me in my search.
