I'm currently working on the Tamiya 1/48 M41 Walker Bulldog, and I'm trying to figure out if the return rollers had rubber tires around the rim like the road wheels or not. I can't really tell in the photos I can find online. Anyone know the answer to this?

Plenty of photos of M41 tanks at Prime Portal: http://www.primeportal.net/the_battlefield_armor.htm
warshipguy So, how is the model?
Tamiya's M41 Walker Bulldog light tank is a venerable kit from 1969. It suffers from age and a product of its time as well as compromises made to its construction due to motorization features. Many parts are thicker to survive handling and bumping into objects as it "crawls across the carpet".
Having said all that, it is often recommended for beginner armor modelers. It looks like a tank and has a simple paint scheme of white stars on olive drab paint. It's easy to assemble and relatively accurate in what it represents. Some detail is missing but the kit is readily available and relatively inexpensive.
Some of the missing details are the inner track surface are nice and shiney. The hull sides don't have any detail, the driver's vision blocks are just hollow openings, but that can be fixed with some intermediate modeling skills.
While there are replacement tracks, once you start buying higher end aftermarket items, you encroach the price of a better base kit. It is a decent kit, but just needs some work to bring it up to today's standards.
Its the perfect kit for practicing techniques on. For keeping it inside a minimal budget: Use stretched Sprue to create missing detail on the fender stowage boxes. Wire is great for replacing other solid molded on details. The missing vision blocks are easily replaced with some Sprue cut and sanded to the appropriate shape and size.
Is there a 1/48 Tamiya M41? I haven't seen/heard about it. Sure you are not building a 1/35 M41?
Here is a link to my Tamiya 1/35 M41 build so far. I started with good (OOTB) intentions, but suffered "mission creep":

A/M tracks, simple details, and some aftermarket decals are covered. Still need to make a mantlet cover.

Gentlemen,
The first entry here made reference to a Tamiya 1/48 Walker Bulldog not to the venerable 1/35 kit. Hence, my question. I have never heard of the 1/48 kit, if one does indeed exist.

I don’t think there is a Tamiya 1/48 M41.
Maybe we’ll see one sooner or later, as the scale seems to be coming back.

I assumed it was a typo.
