I don't see anything wrong with either of those Pzkw III's. The pre-weathering and weathered models look great.

I almost forgot the one that got me first hooked on 1/48 armor.

The Tamiya Porsche turret King Tiger.

Yes I remember my first 1/48 scale armor was the very same tank. But it was made by Bandai, which also offered the Tiger I ausf E, Panther G, Pzkw IV ausf D, Wespe, Elefant and 251/1 Half track et.al. What I really liked about Bandai is that they had full interiors to build. But then I discovered the 1/35 scale and I was hooked. But still 1/48 scale is very nice indeed.

Indeed we do.

I have an M-10, Matilda Mk III, and an Airfield Fuel Truck in the stash from Tamiya.

I feel like I need more lol.

Edit:

I almost forgot the one that got me first hooked on 1/48 armor.

The Tamiya Porsche turret King Tiger.

Thanks. I forgot to say that the 2nd photo is pre-weathering.

Nice job. I like building them. It's slightly bigger than the 1/72 scale I normally build, which helps with my aging eyesight. They are very well engineered and are a great mix between detail and scale.

I recommend one of their HMMWVs.

Neat!

I've built the Tamiya Sherman and Tiger in 1/48th- the Panzer III would have to be pretty small.

Looks to be more weathering on the top photo though. Is it just a trick of the light or did you add more?

These kits are a little on the small side but nice and quick to build. Did my first attempt at using pigments. Went a little over the top but still okay.
