Thanks, and its appreciated.  My google fu never comes up with these images, only pretty standard outside images that you can get pretty much anywhere.

They were originally sand in and out.

Only recently have they showed up in NATO camo and it looks like they are still sand on the inside.  My guess is that the Army repainted sand vehicles NATO camo and the insides are still sand.  New builds may have a green interior from the factory though.

Either way would be accurate, in my opinion.

Hi John

Ill be followig, because I have a kit as well, and I have very little armor experience.  I never trust model kit instructions for correctness.

When I was in the Army in the 80s all of our CUCVs were the same green inside as the dueces were painted, the common NATO green IIRC. Nowadays, I honestly dont know what they do.

Am building the ryefield M-ATV. What would the interior color be for a NATO paint scheme.  i am not sure if they are all produced in desert camo then painted NATO camo, or were they painted NATO camo originally.

Any help in this subject would be greatly appreciated

John
