Tamiya Challenger II Iraq 2003, 1/35

What a super nice kit. No issues, no flash, virtually no clean up, perfect fit, excellent in every way. If you had thought about it, get it, it's simply fantastic. Easily one of the best kits I have ever laid hands on.

I painted it using Vallejo paints and Mr Hobby clear red for the glass parts. I was going to add some pastels, but I don't have room for the base yet so I'll wait till I build the base and weather them together. Anyway, here you go in all her glory. Sorry for the poor pics, I don't have room for my booth or lighting anymore, so this will have to do 'till I move.

Very "clean", like it just rolled off the transport. Good to know it's a quality kit - might be just the ticket when I tire off the high parts count armor in the stash.

Good to know, Keavdog - I've got one of these in the stash, might be the next one to build when I get some space on my bench again!

virtually no clean up, perfect fit,

How was the main gun barrel?  On the Chally 1 I had a fair bit of work to hide the seam.

How was the main gun barrel?

It was no problem. The fit is super nice, only minor clean up after glueing.

Thanks for the kind words.

Nicely done! I'm also glad to hear it's a good kit, I've got one in the stash too. I've been going back and forth about starting it, but I really want to finish the Challenger 1 first. Is there a pun in that?
