I would like to start the truck as it has more options for detailing, painting techniques for the wooden parts, and scratchbuilt cargo to fill up the back.
I may build both and set them in a diorama, then visit the LHS again for the D-Day GB.

Dave,
My vote is for the truck. I haven't seen that many models of them, so would like to see you build it.

Options for group builds

I picked up these today from the LHS.
I am trying to decide on which one to use for which group build. Both fit the criteria for the ongoing small AFV and the upcoming D-Day GB.
Decisions, decisions.
