I need rear view mirrors for my old Tamita Lepard A4

Fixing up my old Tamiya Lepard A4 that took a tumble and the rear view mirrors are missing.Since the kit is discontinued,where can I find them? EBay just had complete kits.

You could try Tamiya and ask for two parts A19 from their old Kampfpanzer Leopard kit, #35064, which are the same parts in their Leopard 1A4. The Leopard 1 is still in production.  You could also try to get the parts from Italeri or from www.Leopardclub.ca.  When you get them, I recommend mounting them in their folded down position. They are less fragile that way . . .  Nice job on your Leo!

If it happens again, just make something similar.  We used to lose mirrora all the time on our armored vehiclesk and would just go to motorpool and see what they had laying around.  It wasn't unusual to have a retangular mirror on one side and a round one on the other, or even a complete set from some other type of vehicle, a duce & 1/2 or jeep, or even a step van.
