I’m glad it didn’t end up in the bin as you’ve made a very nice looking model. I really like the weathering on the sides.

Trumpeter 1/35 Type 89 + what-if add-on armour and scratchbuilt interior

I have been working ion this one most of the year (full build here). I wanted to expand my scratch-building skills so took the Trumpeter 1/35 Type 89 IFV and thought

1) what would the interior look like

2) what would it look like "up-armoured"

3) how about a grey/black paint scheme

well this is how it look right now...

well with a liberal amount of glue, it's all come together. Just need to add the doors and a little touch up of paint, some dust and light mud and then it is done... this one nearly ended up in the bin so pleased to have got this far....
