Hee hee hee.....  I probably have somewhere around eight in progress, I'm trying not to count them. Plus, I have the Legends M51 set on the way, for the very last M51, and I'll probably get into that build too. I think I have an excuse: I have so many builds I want to do that are major or minor kit-bashes that in order to not forget them, I build each one up far enought that I can tell what it's end result is to be. Problem is, I have a lot of ideas.

You're not alone lol. I've got about 7 or 8 builds stalled at one point or another.

I'm totally loving the tank factory you've got going on, Russ.

That looks so good!

And yeah I'll do the M36B1E8 someday... I checked and I've got over fifteen tanks partly built that I really need to buckle down on and finish...

Guess to be honest I SHOULD be working on them now instead of monkeying around on the interwebs... Embarrassed

Some progress on the Cummins engined tank, but I may have to order another book to finish.... Oh well.

GreySnake

Those two are looking nice.

I'm not a big fan of doing painting either I'd rather do track links.

That's funny right there, but me too.

G, I've wanted to do an Easy Eight Jumbo for a while myself, but I like the idea of the M36B1E8 (?) too. It would have a very sleek, modern look.

I HATE painting, I confess. Or maybe it's the fear of goofing up the finish, I dunno, but I tend to stop a lot right after I get a base coat on and have to force myself to continue. Once I get some initial weathering done, I'm okay. Weird.

I only have a Tamiya in 1/48, but I want to build a bigger one with a crew later.

Ohhhhhhhhh cool!!!

It really motivates me to get off my butt and build the M36 tank destroyer with an E8 HVSS running gear I keep thinking about. Embarrassed

Thanks Anthony. I'm at that stage where I'm trying to see how many different color parts I can use.....

In the interest of both sanity and clarity. I'm going to keep the M50 builds separate from the M51, so without further adoo, here they are as of today..... whenever Flickr decides to cooperate.....

Okay. Barrels sre old Barrel Depot parts, the rest is just a mixture of Dragon, MP, Academy and Tamiya oarts. I think the tracks on the M4A4(T)-derived one are from AFV Club.

Welds are done with stretched sprue, using a contrasting color to help with being able to see it.
