hmmmmm, maybe one of the Polish publications that I see making the rounds at the model shows will be better.
Disappointing since the other books are so good in the series. Sadly, this isn't unique to this subject matter. I've seen other cases of same book differnt covers or very misleading covers. Thats why I like to hit up other bibliophiles for inof and reviews before I lay out the cash. Or get a peek first for myself.

Renarts, there is something strange going on here. I have the Military Vehicles in Detail, SdKfz 250/1 to 250/12, by Terry Gander. There "appeared" to be another book, SdKfz 250-251, with a different cover, but it doesn't cover the 251 at all! Check out this link; http://www.historyofmilitary.com/Military_Vehicles_in_Detail_Sdkfz2501To25012_Miltary_Vehicles_in_Detail_1_0711029423.html

RedButcher, I have a few inside photos of a restored 251/1 ausf D. I also have Osprey's and Schiffer's books on the 251, as well as some others. I'll take a look to see what I have and post back in a bit.

Smile [:)]cool Thanks Peridexion. That was what I was looking for. I really liked the pic with the wicker basket but I dont know how to build one from scratch in 1/35 scale lol. If you happen to have some lived in look I would much appreciate them if it is not to much a bother. Thanks again for the link Peridexion

Hey Peridexion,

Didn't Tanks in Detail just release a book on the 251?
If so, this is the scratchbuilding set of plans for this vehicle. THis is a great series and I highly reccomend it to anyone serious about detailing a vehicle. They have 3 or 4 vehicle covered now.

Hi folks was wondering if anyone knows where to find pictures of the inside of a german halftrack Sdkf 251. I want to fill the inside of my model with some cool stuff but I don,t know what would have been stored inside hte sitting area. Suggestions would also be helpful. Thanks
