Yeah I was also taken aback by the spare tracks on the front of the tank, but they look good along with the wooden boxes on the rear. The weathering looks very good and I like the leather look of the interior head pads of the cupola hatches.
Yeah, almost there! I love those wooden storage boxes!

Tanker-Builder Boy! Those tracks on the front surely make this a very unique look for that Model Tank. Now imagine if an Abrams was rigged that way. Omigosh! Nice Job.

agree, the added armour is what drew me to the kit.... and if someone supplied me with an Abrams kit i would quite happily replicate this
GreySnake Those spare tracks on the front of the hull really change the appearance of the tank.

I long to live in a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned
Pz III ausf A had 5 road wheels, then the B-D models went to 8 road wheels, the E model was the first model that standardized the Pz III at 6 road wheels.
Looking good!
muckied up the turret interior just a little and glued it all together - build now complete so when I get the chance will start painting
Again, looks good! And yeah, you won't see much though the turret hatch.
She's coming along great Rob!
