Looks like an Academy kit to me. If so, I have built two of Academy's Humvees. Easy as pie. Made one of them into a R.A.T.T. rig in honor of my drinking buddies in Korea in 1995 and 1996 (Meet me in the Turtle Ditch at 2100 hrs!) and the other one I made into an IDF Patrol Hummer from two pics of a completed model I found here:
http://idfmodelling.free.fr/kitvehicle.html.

After I built the kit I found the kit from AEF Designs! Sure woulda helped save some time!

Thanks... It is the Acadamy kit... I am going to replicate the vehicle that carried me all over Afganistan... So it will be in Sand color...

That's what's worth the effort. The grille looks very nice. Can't wait to see it all painted up.

Scorn: What did you use for that camo netting?

Lookin' good, Tom. Nice build. I've got an Italeri Commando Hummer that my oldest son was supposidly going to build, but I wound up with, somehow!! lol This one looks much nicer. Whose radio castings did you use?

Good eye mattfixitCool [8D] But the vehicle I am modeling is one I know only too wellBig Smile [:D] I rode around the Afgan countryside in it for a long time... We had SIGARS but did not mount them... We kept them in the man pack configuration just in case we had to leave the vehicle in a hurryTongue [:P] Which happened more times the one... We used the 'old style" radios to contact the Northern Alliance troops under our supervision/command... When this thing kicked off we gave who we could (read that who we trusted) SIGARS sets and the rest got PRC-77's or GMRS handhelds or both... We mounted the heavier raidos and they would call us, we would call the Boys in Uncle Sams Flying Circus and they would blow stuff up...Big Smile [:D] Nothing like seeing a BUFF on final over a target and knowing that the guy at the coordiantes you just gave the FAC is going to regret the day his Mommy ever met his Daddy....Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]
