Bill,

I think it's an awsome kit! The price isn't bad and there's almost 3' of U-boat to play with (my tub isn't quite big enough unless I scrooch over to one side). I like it so much I went out and bought a slew of U-Boat books to bone up on while I build it.

If you like Das Boot, you'll like this kit. I personally think it's destined to become another classic (like the Monogram B-17G, or the Tamiya Sherman).

You probably shouldn't visit this site, it's full of wierdos..Big Smile [:D]Wink [;)]. Especially those guys who make US, German or any other country's armor. Also, 1/35 and 1/32 scale figures mix pretty well because people come in different heights sometimes.Wink [;)]

Welcome to Armor! Yes, you'll be back (don't tell anybody but I'm working on a U-Boat instead of a tank right now)...

I agree, most figs in 1:35 scale would work fine for a 1:32 dio. I'm not really sure about vehicles though, as a 10% discrepancy would be noticeable. But as Scorn said, depending on how you chose to orient your dio, you could make it work. Try posting in the dio forum, I'm sure people there will have other suggestions.
There are a number of kits of jeeps in 1:35 scale. Also, the number of accessories available in 1:35 is a VERY large list, and that could allways be used to fill up space as well..

There is only about a 9% difference in size between 1:35 and 1:32. If you staged distances between them properly you could probably make it work ok... at least the figures would work well as there is a vast difference between people is sizes...

I never do armor so I am ignorant of the scales and what is available. I am currently buildiung the Trumpeter 1:32nd corsair and want to set a scene on a south Pacific island. What would you all put in this in terms of say jeeps and any other trucks or vehicles, who makes it and I assume the scale best fit would be 1:35. Do you notice a huge difference between 1:32 and 1:35?

Thanks in advance.
