I've never used this stuff but it sounds like its very thin. Give it a good mix and apply another coat or 2 until your happy. I use my own panel washes useing oils or AK's wash and find with those one coat is enoughmost times but often need to add a second.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

On DAK vehicles I use dark brown pin washes either my own brew from artist oils or Mig dark brown wash. You need to have a gloss acrylic barrier coat so the wash will easily flow into the sharp details. Flat finishes tend to bleed the wash and not give a clean sharp detail.

i use raw umber oils as well. sometimes i hit it with a gloss coat sometimes i don't. i will try using a small brush and just gloss coating the panel lines and see how that works.
