Gamera Hey Wayne it's good to have you back!!! Glad to hear you're in recovery, I hope things continue to go well with it. I've looked on several browsers and platforms and I can't see you photos though.

While recovering from strong hand shoulder surgery I decided, once the sling could be removed around the house, to indulge in some styrene therapy. Not knowing how it would go I grabbed some OTS kits from the stash. this is the Academy kit. Not bad. Suspension is a tad fiddely though having build some 1/35 kits not confusing. Wheel attachments could be stronger, hence the base, and sanding down the tire seams takes out any detail, hence the dirt. Vallejo NATO green primer, black pin wash and yellow filtering on the hatches. pastels for the dirt.
Standard quick base. model putty with terrain covering, dry coffee grounds, some fake flower stuff, my signature tell, hydrocal rocks (at 1/72 which is scree at 1/35) and woodland paints.
will finish up some 1/35 shelf queens before geting back to some modern Russian OTS.
