Hmm maybe that's one of those modeling equations the size of the kit is inversely proportional to the length of completion.

Thanks for the compliments. Makes all the problems worth it.

Ron- Yes this is definalty my vote for kit of the year most likely to be slammed against a wall for sure!

Cassibill- Bad thing is I did the Dragon Wagon in less than 3 weeks. Of coarse this one did get put into time out a few times for not cooperating like I thought it should.Big Smile [:D]

You certainly built it as if it was the easiest thing to do! Great work Chris! I know how you feel; my Scammel gave me the same kind of hard time! You kettenkrad certainly came out better though! Can't wait to see the better model you're going to build next!

Chris it looks great!
I have to laugh at the memory of Sue (my wife) begging a ride on the real deal and the smile on her face that quickly turned to a "This thing rides like ---!" Look as she bumped along in the 'back seat'.. This look turned to a "get me off of this!" as the ride continued. Luckily, she laughed the whole way and smiled as her ride finished. I think she'll stick to bigger half tracks and tanks!

Now, I have to get this straight, Chris, you're recommending this as 'kit of the year'? (since that's how long it takes to make one)

Looks great to me, Chris. I never figured I'd see it standing on it's own after the way you were threatening to crunch it under an Allied guy!! I hope my DML comes out as nice! Thanks for posting it.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] All things considored Chris,, That little thing turned out pretty well, Got that way with my Sherman for the Sherman group Build. I suppose if I had thrown it in the wall I coulda just put it in a dio and said it had a run in with a very angry Kitty.

Nice work Chris , I am sure your problems with it were more a matter of not being into modeling at that particular time , I have had those days too , and now I just do something else instead , the simplest things can be so frustrating if you are not in the mood to deal with them . All in all it has come out very well I think , I like the faded camo. I did one of those a ways back and it went together pretty well , but I had nothing to do at the time and it seemed oddball enough for me , thats why I think we all like German armor , some of thier ideas were so odd its not even funny . Can't wait to see the firetruck when its done , I know this is armour forum but post a pic or 2 in here when done !Cool [8D]

Wow that is your longest build to date, and on the smallest kit you've built! Looks nice, i thought it was the DML kit.

It's the Tamiya kit with the trailer. The camo is free hand yes. NOt sure about incorporating it into anything yet. Came close to being incorporated into the wall a time or two. Thats why it took 3 months, had to hide it from myself before one of us recieved serious damage.

Hey Chris,
Whos kit is that again??? Over all build looks good. I take it that the camo is free hand right??
MMMmmmm, I have one or two of the Ol Tamiya kits on my shelf. See what you have started!!!!!
Are you going to incorporate it in a dio or anything like that.
Lookin good so far.
Flaps up, Mike

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger
