Kit no. 02343

So ive been taking some time away to work on stamps and now decied to jump back  in with the above....  I did a little search on the site and came across a few of these - literally 2 or 3.  But , i have a little trouble at times with the searching here.  Lemme say a few things that have changed for me in the past almost year being away:

1)  i need to learn to multitask - i like stamps AND modelling

2)  My poor eyes have changed - i need the readers all the time now as the monovision is no longer manageable

3)  ive developed fat finger - this thing is small!  AND the parts are flying further than usual when they blast off from my fingers.

4)  I hope i havent fogot all that i learned here

5) Not sure if this is a Trumpeter thing or not - im not familiar with this piece, but it seems way hard to figure out where some pieces are to be attached as the "------->" in the directions when pointing to a spot just blend in to a blob and i end up not being able to tell where the piece is suppose to go.  And if look to the next step to try and figure it out, i dont even see the part!?!  Poor detailing there.

If anyone can point to a spot or 2 on the web for details of this piece, much appreciated.

So this model seems to have a lot of seams and gaps.  The pieces a little too much flahing and some of the parts are really bolted to the sprues and lots to trim off when separated.  Ive done a little too much cussing for only being on step 4.  Haha.  We'll see.

Keep on modeling!

All the best,

William
