I'm building the Italeri E/H1, but using extensive Aber detailing.. Here are the links to my progress reports:

Yeah I picked it up at my clubs swap meet last night, the problem with the zimmerit is weathering and how to make it looked chipped and such.

Can't comment on their tiger, but their panther wasn't the greatest, but not the worst either. The kit is actually nice enough to give a choice, as there are optional peices without zimmerit where you can add your own. Too bad that's not the case with their Tiger kit, but damn I WISH I could find it for that cheap. It's twice that here in TO.

I've got the Tiger E/H1 without zimmerit. I think it is a decent kit, not as good as my Tamiya Afrika Tiger, but worth the $14 I paid for it. There is a build review of it in an old defunct Military Model Preview of the one that you have. It helps in dealing with the molded on zimmerit.

I picked up a Italerei Tiger 1E kit (10.00 1/35 scale) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this kit. S far the only thing I dont like on it is the molded on zimmeritt. Any advice or tips on this one?
