Thanx all for the comments. For the skirts i cut the kit ones into the 4 sections and heated them with my lighter and manipulated them with sum tweesers. And for the mounting points i just cut sum card into tiny squares and glued them on.
Jon i will get round to the cable sum time this week. Thanx for the tip.

Appreciate the comments.

Keep well.

Thanx guys.
AM. I used paint brushes too. About the tow cable: I used some wire from my PC, cut it to length, and then used some spare tubing from bikes, cut it to size, slide the two pieces over the wire then take another piece of tubing cut it length ways and glue it to the ends(for the inside of the loop),bend it over and slide the end piece into the tubung thats already on the wire, glue in place, and then paint to your liking.

Keep well.

QUOTE: And AM those tracks r so solid, it was a real pain gluing them down.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Academy doesn't make the loosest treads around. I did their tiger 1 with out interior and I had to ram paintbrushes in the gap and leave it overnight after I put super glue in there. But it looks awsome! How did you do the cable on the tiger 2? did you use the kits and heat it up to bend it like that? Thats one of the most realistic tow cables i've ever seen on a tiger before!

King and the Prince (PICS)
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 12:31 PM
Hi all.
Well here they r. My latest build along with my first build. The King Tiger is a Tamiya 1/35 and the Tiger is an Academy 1/35 full int. My tank collection now stands at three and overall coll stands at six. Both these kits were built OOB. They were hand painted with Humbrol Enamels and weathered accordingly.
So what do u guys think. All comments r welcome. Please let me know what u think. Thanx all. Appreciate it. Sorry bout the quality of pics.Big Smile [:D]

Still need to mess with the Tigers tracks a bit.

Thanx again.Smile [:)]

Keep well.
