And the Tamiya M40 is an excellent kit, includes 8 figures,a real nice build.
MR TOM SCHRY Not to make things more confusing but didn't AFV Club also make a M-12 kit? TJS

No, AFV Club does the M40 which is a similar vehicle, but based on the M4 chassis instead of the M3 chassis the M12 is based upon. It's much wider with HVSS suspension. Tamiya does an M40 as well.
They did release a couple of their own 35th armour kits last year, Cromwells i believe. But all there other 35 armours kits are re-boxed Academy.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Most of Airfix's 1/35th scale kits belong to another company. I think the only ones that were theirs originally were the pretty decent 1/32 scale tanks like the M3 Grant, M3 Lee, Crusader and Monty's staff car.
They've always been more of an aircraft company and their small scale armor kits.
Hello!
Check this out:
M12 GMC, Airfix A1372 (2020) (scalemates.com)
It basically says it's the same kit (same plastic) with maybe different markings.
scalemates - it's a great site!
Have a nice day

I just noticed that Airfix has an M-12. How does it compare to Academy's which I have in the stash.
