This would be inspired from the tiger sickness posts , just as I was cleaning out some past clutter , and not cleaning out very much indeed , I just can't do it ! I can't throw out my old boxes , God I hope I am not in this alone here ! Post away !Big Smile [:D]

Unfortunately I have no choice but to throw out old boxes, but not by choice. Our place is too small, there's no space to keep them.

Past builds??? What's that? That would imply finished models! I haven't totally finished but one kit so far!! So, the answer is no, I don't throw out the boxes. But one of these days, IT will go!! lol. Acutally, I figure the bigger ones make great extra parts and extra sprue boxes!

When complete, in the trash they go, along with instruction sheets too. I can't justify keeping trash and having it take up space. No need for empty boxes.

Gotta save them -

With the original box art onsome of the old Auora kit boxes. some of them are worth more than the plastic inside ever was.

I too throw the boxes out when I clean up after finishing a model, but I keep the instructions. But then again I only do one model at a time ( I know, I'm not right in the headSmile [:)])

Zero, Ziltch, Nada, I keep every single box. My wife hates me, but I just tell her to look at all her shoes and that does the trick.

I save every box! I write the month and year of the build on the end of the box, put the instructions and all aftermarket instructions inside, and into the closet they go. I'm a pack rat. Big Smile [:D]

I trash most of the boxes, but keep all instructions. Got instructions going back about 15 years right now.

I used to keep the top of the boxes if they were good drawings. Now I have only one box top and maybe I'll frame it some day, or one of my unbuilt kits. I need space for all my new kits. Big Smile [:D]

I cut off the box art, kind of a way of keeping track of what i built. Keep the instructions to just in case something comes up one day or someone else needs them.

Me too. Cut out the box top and save the instructions. There is something about the finality of throwing away the box when the build is complete that just feels very satisfying.

Wish I didn't have to, but I already get enough heat about the unbuild models piling up in the basement...

Out they go .... I used to keep the box art, but after too many moves they didn't stand up too well, so even they go now. I do keep the instructions though, at least those that aren't duplicates.

I save the instructions in a file folder wedged between reference books.

I keep the unused decals in zip baggies and try to keep them out of light as much as possible.

I have a few of the boxes but they hold parts. Most of the boxes are thrown away.

I went to my hometown for work today and stopped in to see my folks. Dad had found and boxed up some more of my modelling stuff for me to take home (I have only recently restarted the hobby) and apparently, I have more box art and instructions than surviving models. By quite a big margin....

I don't throw them out, I have a wife that does that, sometimes with parts still inside. It's a good thing that I love her.
