What is the go to MikeMix for SCC15?

Which do you prefer:

XF-71(1) + XF-58(1) + XF-81(5)

or

XF-61(5) + XF-62(2) + XF-3(2) with optional XF-53 (1 or 2) to lighten?

In case you haven't seen it...here's one from 2021 that shows the first Starmer mix along with a photo comparison to Tamiya's XF-61 Khaki Drab (and a couple of AK and MiG colors) out of the bottle.

(I tend to match colors by eye rather than strictly by chips or samples, so comparison shots are always useful. From my notes...but I confess I haven't mixed any of these versions myself.)

Cheers

Greg

Go with the latest dated version.

I have met Mike Starmer at a show, & he is known to have reformulated his mix to account for Tamiya CHANGING some of the colour hues.

Unless you are set only to use Tamiya, I would recommend Ammo by MIG SCC15, or

SCC 15 (BRITISH 1944-45 OLIVE DRAB) Reference: AMIG0112

Humbrol and AK interactive also do SCC15
