Lol, never thought about just cutting off the fenders but it sounds good to me!

Not fun!

Not an ideal scenario!
We were traversing through farmer's fields, so the thick chunks of mud were almost the size of a football.
My tanks lost plenty of front and rear fenders. Losing a right rear fender is the worst; you'll get beat to death by giant chunks of mud flying in the air and hitting you in the head as the tank commander.
Yes I can make a fender or chock it up to wear and tear!
That's cool, I'd never have thought of reconditioning the old toy. Should look good as a flatcar load.
Looks like the front left fender is a little messed up. You might try making a tarp out of some tissue and laying it over the warped area like it was just pulled off the top of the tank. I can't imagine a tarp on a AFV being transported would be that unusual.
Just a silly little thing ,but it was fun!
Nice job on that, Eugene. I love it when inspiration strikes me in much the same fashion lol.

Well I used Painters Touch red oxide primer followed by Tamiya Deep Green .I used some Microscale Stars I found in my decal stash .I used a piece of aluminum tubing to repair the damaged cannon .
It's actually an M48, not an M60. Nice work on fixing the main gun tube

Was it that typical waxy poly plastic? And if so, how hard was it to get the paint to stick?
(I've built a fair number of Imex kits in that same type of plastic, which is why I ask. )
Looks darn good though!

Picked up this soft plastic M-60 at a local thrift shop for a nominal sum .The kind we had as kids that came in a bag with army men ,flag jet and sometimes a half track I intend to use it as a flat car load on my train table.
