This looks great. I've done some what ifs myself. One of my first was a Sgt. York ADA turret on an Abrams chassis that I've called the Sgt Major York.

The one I've currently been tinkering with is an MBT70 turret on an M60A1 hull. This combination is based off of the fact that the counter rotating turret gave the driver motion sickness, so they took the driver and put him back in the hull. And it assumes the rest of the turret systems work as intended.

I call it the MBT60, but wonder if the 152 mm should be replaced by a 105 or maybe a 120 that was also on the M103.

Carlos, I was thinking the exact same thing when I cobbled this up. Plus, it was an excuse to do some funky camo. I actually debated using another color, like pink or pale blue, but had already covered too much of the yellow, so I stopped. Maybe on another one.....

I do recall reading about how Germany and France were working on developing a tank together before they went down their own seperate paths and developed the Leopard and AMX-30 MBTs. This gives a hint of what could have been... upgunned of course Excellent what if project! Toast

Having so many partial kits left laying around due to the kind of kit-bashes I like to do, every now and then I get the urge to use some up. This one is the hull of the Meng AUF 1 that contributed its turret for a What-if IDF SPG, along with the ancient Tamiya Leo 1 turret, some HB Leo2 bits and a gun tube from Academy (?).
