Hi Guys,
Today as I was applying the Panzer Grey base coat to my 1/35 Tamiya Panzer 38(t) I noticed that I had lost one of my return rollers on one side. I was hoping to contact Tamiya to see if I could purchase a new part. Has anyone had any experience with Tamiya and missing parts? Thanks

It's been many years since I have needed to get a replacement part from them. But at that time, their service was top notch.

I recently emailed them asking to buy the interior sprue out of their M2 Bradley kit. They were great and sent me a whole sprue for free with free postage. Great customer service as always.

Every time I have contacted them about getting replacement parts, they have been awesome to deal with.

Thanks everyone for your quick replies. It sounds like Tamiya is a good company that takes care of their customers, which is a nice thing to hear nowadays. I'll be contacting Tamiya for that part.
Outstanding! When their GT4 came out I wanted another set of the wheels it came with for my boss302 as they are my track wheels. I offered to pay and they said they weren't ready to ship spare parts for that kit just yet. About two months later the entire sprue showed up no charge.
Thanks,
John
It's gotten beat to death but same experience here. Needed a part for the 1/48 Spit mk.I. I think I might have mentioned I destroyed the part and they still sent the entire sprue for free.
Where can I find the contact info for Tamiya ?

Thank you Eaglecash
And another thank you from here too.
Great news everyone! Gary from Tamiya's Customer Service Dept. answered my email and is going to send out the replacement part. I want to say "Thank You" to everyone on this forum who responded to my question. I would also like to thank Tamiya for their quick response and for supporting their customers. I wish that more model manufacturers would follow Tamiya's example.
The only problem I ever encountered with Tamiya was that they no longer had the replacement part available, which wasn't their fault. Otherwise, they are first class all the way!
