Man, that looks super good. I really like those figures too. I have been eyeing them for awhile now and may have to pick them up.

Yes, I have to concur, those figures look good. They're going to make an excellent addition to this model.

Thank all for following along and commenting.I didn't do a lot this week, but I did lay down a basecoat of good old Tamiya XF-60, I also started on a 3rd figure.

 " target="">

I also started on the inner set of roadwheels,it's less daunting to do a set at a time, instead of all at once.I used my circle template to set the rubber edges.

Looks good!

Templates seem to be the easiest way to paint the road wheels I've found.  Good idea!

Small update,I got my roadwheels painted, filtered, and washed all 36 pieces, I'm pretty happy with the look, maybe some dried mud,I'm definitely keeping the overslept weathering light on this one.Well I can't put it off anymore, gotta paint the dreaded camo pattern this week, for me always a little dicey trying to get the right look.

I don't know a lot about tanks, but I find it incredible that this is your " break" from another project.  Tank builders really are a strange lot, in a good way.

She's coming along great there Tojo, nice to see the whole 'road wheel garden' as someone here once called it!

Well, very little masking unless you're building something with a camo scheme, no (or few) clear parts, and you can just assemble the whole darn thing except the wheels and tracks and spray... I'd consider them easy or just low stress compared to other modeling...

That looks really good, Tojo!

If you thats not your best camo, it's still really well done!

Excellent work Tojo. BTW you can never go wrong with a circle template. I have a Panther D in my stash and seeing this as the 2nd one on the forum, I might bring it to life.

I'm calling this one done, very happy with the outcome except for my SS Pea camo, but other then that I do like the way the figures turned out,and there positions on the tank. Thanks for looking, and your comments.

Gorgeous work, love the detailing on the tank and the paint work on both it and the figures. Even your photograph is top shelf.

Thanks for sharing.

Outstanding work on the tank and the figures. The camouflage smocks look great. Q: Did you use transfers or decals for the figures' insignias on their collars and on the TC? You did an awesome job with them.
