The whole thing went together surprisingly well save for me forgetting to drill a couple holes at the proper time.

Looks like it came out nicely.  Good job on it.  The only issue I see is the cable for the spade.  It shouldn't be rusty.  The metal used is corrosion resistens and it is usually well greased so it should show no rust.  Even on museum pices, it is a greased dark metal color.

Thanks Gino. I should have sought out some pictures. If I had not screwed up glueing the winch I could have unrolled the cable that was included in the kit. Instead I had to fake the outside portion with some fishing line. The included cable (thread) was black at least.

You happen to know what base that pic was taken? I assume from the water tower it is and I know it aint Ft. Sill! Looks like Calif maybe or AZ

Changed the pic as the last one disappeared.  This is at Ft Sill, OK at the US Army Artillery Museum.

Thanks for up date. I realized after I took and posted the pics that I did notice the second ramp was laying off to the side. I think I am starting to get an idea from that large photo of how those propellant cannister racks may have functioned.

I really enjoyed that kit,it was well engineered and assembled like a dream,I also used five if the figures as they also looked great with their poses.

Hello

For my M40 during step 9 of putting the differential cover together I am getting a small gap on the side and I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I pushed really hard but no use. Did yours have the same small gap? Please help!
