Yes,price quickly gets out of hand in that scale,my Tiger came with the commander.
Nice, but I suspect just three of these figures will cost more than I paid for the kit. His other 120mm figures are around $45.

I worry about where to put it after it's built!!
DanR1967 I agree 100% - we need figures for these kits!

Oh WOW Dan and Tojo!!!
Do you guys have an extra space in the garage to park those monsters!?!?!?!
As I said before I've picked up the 1/350th TV and movie Trek Enterprises but I don't have any place to put the built kits!!!!!!!
Thanks Gamara
Just a one off for me,wanted to try at least one.Hope to start later this fall, but no build log here just going to take my time and post some finished pics somewhere.

They're both nice kits, but for not much more money, you get a lot more detail with the Das Werk kit. It's so weird because even Trumpeter's 1/72 half-tracks have an engine. This seems like such a missed opportunity on their part.
I just picked up the Trumpeter kit and was also surprised at the lack of an engine. Detail everywhere is pretty limited. This kit would definitely benefit from some AM goodies and soldiers. Now I'm going to have to pick the Das Werk one up too.

Andys has some 1/16 figures

Hope this is a habenger of producers creating a good selection of figures to go with these beasts
1. Tiger
2. Sherman
3. 251D
4. MAYBE A HETZER? MAYBE THE Jeep???
we're modelers it's what we do
I actually purchased the Trumpeter kit about 2 months ago and was shocked that there was no engine detail. When I saw this one with all of the amazing additional details, I couldn't resist. Thank God for mid-year bonuses. It made the decision to buy a second 1/16 Ausf. D so much easier.
You do have the open top and interior which should be pretty impressive and lends itself to detailing
Uh oh... I have been bested in battle!!!
Not bad,but mine's bigger
