Sherman tank and maybe other related

I've been looking for a web site that may show me the different structures of the typical tank during ww2. I'm interested in the bits that Are internally identified as well as the exterior.  I have several kits but what bothers me is the instructions say where the bits go but unfortunately they don't identify the parts. I expect they wouldn't identify them but perhaps a book or web site could be recommended. I have several books on the subject but they don't discuss the parts.

Typical and Sherman rarely go together. Each tank variant was made by a different manufacturer and underwent changes from their combat debut in North Africa to the MTO, ETO and post Bulge.

While this website is dedicated to modeling 1/72 scale Shermans and the various available kits, it does have a lot of information that you might be looking for.
