LARGE SCALE Panther
Posted by crockett on Monday, April 26, 2004 11:30 PM
I'm ready to spend the "Big Bucks" on a 1/16th Panther. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm too lazy to shop - I hope someone can point me in the right direction or maybe a pic or two of a finished goliath scale Panther would be great!

Hmmm...I've heard someone mention a 1/16 Panther here before, but I can't remember anything about it. Jim Shirley Productions, or something like that?

The only big Panther I can think of is the old 1/15 Verlinden resin kit.

Not I!! I'd much rather have a bunch of smaller kits (and a house, wife, kids, etc.) for much less money!! lol

Hey, you could also get a 1/3 panther. Yes, a 1/3 scale panther! It's on hyperscale, I'll try to find it...

Or you can just go to that scrapyard and get the 1/1 scale Panther. Smile [:)]

Lets say hypothetically , that Tamiya does make a 1/16 scale R/C Panther ,.... which one would all of you like to see reproduced ? For me as of now ( and this could change on a whim mind you ) it would have to be a late G model , I just like the lack of zimmerit and the late camo style . Cool [8D]

I am sure that Aberdeen Proving Grounds are willing to part with their panther(do they have one?) and you are the only guy they will consider!, Forget the car man, just go all out with the 1/3!
