There are several different methods out there, a lot of it is personal preference based on what works for you. What I use is medical gauze, I paint it whatever colour I need for the camo scheme, then soak it in a mixture of water and white glue. Once it's soaked just place it in place on the vehicle and allow it to dry. It's pretty simple and easy.

Camo netting is most easily made from medical gauze. Stretch it a little, then soak it in white glue mix (80% water 20% Elmers Glue) then role it or form it how you want, paint the desired color. Waaallaa....instant camo netting. You can even add some leaves and such. Woodland scenics makes some excellant products that can be added to give the netting some "texture".

Dave, check out the Sherman Group build pages back about 12 pages or so or send shermanfreak an e-mail. He does a fabulous camo netting using cheesecloth.....even has the scrim looking real...and described how he did it there.
