Hey you braille scalers! Check this baby out:

It's a 1/72 newbie by Pegasus Hobbies. It's $12.99 at Mission Models:

http://www.missionmodels.com/index2.htm

Love to see a real example of the kit. Whose going to be first??

There's a new Dragon Wagon reference shown there, too!

Dean, I'm sorry to say, I don't. The guys at Mission Models are REAL good to work with and talk to. When I get ready to order, I'll ask them about the quality, etc. I noticed that they've (Pegasus) has a few other models out. As I recall, they are all Russian, so maybe they are one of the Eastern Bloc countries. I'm really not sure. But I guess it's worth risking $13 to find out. This payday, my wife as insisted (really) that I order the new Polar Lights NX-01 Enterprise model. (Surprised the heck out of me, too!) And I'm wanting to get an order off to Grandt Line. So, maybe next payday. I'd really like to get started on my E-100, just to keep J-Hulk happy, of course!! lol

Are you talking Imperial Gallons??

We're paying close to that most places here too. California, I understand, is way over that. I'd heard it was close to $3.00 per gallon in some places over a month ago. It's not good anywhere.

Thanks, Larry. It looks pretty good to me. Especially for 1/72! Guess I was way off base with the Eastern Bloc stuff though! Unless California has joined up recently!! lol

Nice, Bill!
I picked up Dragon's little 1/144 Maus and E-100 kits a few weeks ago. Nice little kits, and with PE, to boot!

If 1/72 and 1/76 armor are "braille scale," what is 1/144?

I haven't seen them yet, Brian. Man! A 1/144 kit!! I've done a wingy thingy or two in that scale, but a tank! Wow! Although I did buy a Can Do Tiger I a few weeks ago, but I didn't have to put it together! Must be one HUGE pe fret!! lol

There's one more kit I have to see about getting. I never liked the looks of the Maus, since it looked like two boxes thrown together with some pipes sticking out. Still, the Germans built it, the Germans moved it a few feet, so therefore I am obligated to add that to my collection! Wink [;)]

Seriously though, I'm glad to finally see it. That is a tank I have been wanting, despite my thoughts on it's appearance.

Now to start saving up some cash!

I have a few of the World Tank Museum 1/144th scale tanks as kits. I got them on eBay -- they were released in Japan on a limited basis as kits. There aren't a whole lotta pieces -- maybe seven or eight. And those pieces are about the size of some of the pieces you are accustomed to putting onto a 1/35th scale kit.

Hey Brian, how about the Can-Do 1/144th Morser Karl or the K5? (They did a K5, didn't they?) Any word on those?

Larry, I saw the FOUR 1/144 Morser (54cm and 60cm) kits at the LHS last weekend. Only about 7 bucks each, too. Not Karl, but Loki, Odin, Thor, and Ziu. They come with either a bunch of figures (12), a Pzr III command tank, or a Panther command tank.
And lots of PE!

I've collected ALL the Kaiyodo World Tank Museum vehicles!
There's a million of 'em!
The candy that comes with 'em is tasty, too!

You know, that is actually kind of cool. I may need to pick one up.

I've got em all too -- I use them for wargaming. Even the Red Baron Tiger I, which I promptly gave to my son. I've actually got a huge number of them. They aren't easy to get in the US, but on eBay you can get them from HK.

I'm extremely glad that they are doing a hanomag and an M3. It's also good to see that Dragon is doing the Panzer IV. Now if only they would do a basic Sherman. I've converted a whole bunch of the Fireflys to use as US Shermans.

What's with the Dragon Can Do Tiger I? Looks like somebody stepped on the back of it. The Dragon King Tiger is much nicer than the WTM one, though.

Ya know, I haven't really looked at the Can Do stuff. Scrunched? I have some Dragon stuff (KT, Jagdtiger, Jagdpanther, Panther G) and they're all quite nice.

I bought most of 'em at convenience stores...I'd just go in for a Coke and a tank!

Yes indeed, Can Do is the 1/144th trading model line by Dragon.

I'd love to see them come out with the Leopold in 1/144th. That would be awesome and would provide some nice diorama opportunities -- like a bunch of 1/144th scale Typhoons or P-47's swooping down on the gun ... wonder if that ever happened?

Hmmm, interesting thought, Larry. I'll bet a 1/144 Leopold would be close to as long as a 1/35 Pz I or II!

Reaching back into my swiss cheese memory, it seems to me I read that the K5's weren't attacked by air. They kept them in railroad tunnels and weren't sure where they were. I think they were finally found after the front passed them by. But, I am not positive about any of it.

Hmmm...why do I think there already is a 1/144 Leopold out there? Lemme check around...

Aaah, I found one of the Dragon boxes a Tiger II came in, and indeed, it does say "Micro Armor Can.Do Pocket Army" right on the box.
