Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, April 29, 2004 5:15 AM
does anyone out there know where I can find photoetched or detail sets for Tamiyas 1/35 "stuka du fuss" german halftrack, Brummbar assult tank or SdKfz 163 Stg lV self-propelled gun? ( i know there are loads of detail kits for the STG lV, but they all seem to be for different versions)
any web addresses would help,

Here's one I found on Great Models site, and it's in stock. But I don't know if it's for the Tamiya or the RPM kit. Good luck.

tim984, I have the stug IV from Tamiya and here is the detail stuff I picked up for it.
Eduard PE #35 357
Eduard Schurzen #35 361
Eduard Zimmerit 35 483
Jordi Rubio barrel and muzzel brake TG-05 (I would recommend getting the one from Eduard. The Jordi muzzle brake has a lot of flash and below my expectationsDisapprove [V].)
Academy's indy tracks for the Panzerkampfwagen IV comes with idler and optional drive wheels. (got this because the PE set wasn't hard enough on the eyesBig Smile [:D]) I would of liked to have gotten the Friulmodel tracks but I blew my budget. If you do get these tracks becareful I think if you get the 40cm tracks you will also have to get the 40cm sprocket, the kit one may be too small.
I got my stuff at http://www.hometown-hobbies.com and my LHS You can also try http://www.greatmodels.com/. I always compare these two places best prices ive found.
Hope this helps
