the rocket launcher is called a Fliegerfaust ("flying fist"). It was a multibarrelled anti-aircraft missile launcher, shoulder-fired, that never saw combat.

Here's an image (sort of) of the set they are talking about, I think.

Image is small, sorry.

Hey Beav, I was thinking of doing an infra-red panther dio in the future, and I was wondering what the poses are like in this kit. Are the all action man type poses, or are they a little more relaxed. (I don't want to do a combat dio, really.)

There 2 different barrels one with a 30 deg. bend and the other (and much longer) at 60 deg. IIRC. Both weapons used the normal front and rear sights with a mirror mounted in between and required special ammo.
A complete waste of research $$ and time, like about 1/2 of Germany's projects!

the mp-44 with the curved barrel and mirror could shoot around corners, but could only fire 1 magazine before being rendered useless. the 8 barrled thing is a low-flying anti-aircarft rocket launcher. the other soldiers have infrared sights for night fighting.Cool [8D]

I think that is a little bit off the norm for dragon-making up their own special weapon!
lol
Like a reusable panzerfaust......good probably for troop mass killing or knocking out gun crews-not tanks but maybe tracks...

Some saw combat in the closing weeks of the war. The weapon you are probly asking about is the Sturm Gewher 44 (previously called MP 43 to hide it from Hitler) equipped with the "Vampire" IR night sight. To my knowledge only SS troops were issued this weapon.
The StG 44 was the first Assault Rifle ever designed and it is still being produced (under a different name) just like the MG 42.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] with tigerman on this one from what I can find out some troops trained but never deployed. These device weighed quite a lot and troops were hand picked.

I've seen the picture too and sort of wondered myself. Just hasn't been enough information available. Or perhaps it might be more hearsay? Supposedly the Germans limited use of night fighting Panzers were effective, but again I can't find much information about them.

I have seen pictures of this set, and I was wondering if anyone can say anything about it-like what the soldiers are(unit) and those strange weapons what are they?
