Thanks Wildwilliam!
Those Armourfasts are ideal, especially two in a box, right number of kid/tank ratio. They're turning 5 and 3 in July, so maybe I'll let the glue fly (outdoors). I've already let the older use my Iwata with AB watercolors so you may be seeing some wild camo patterns.

Fascinating! I had to take a good look to see beyond the camo. Always good to see younger blood joining the hobby.

i think Frosty mentioned her young brother was doing some beginner armor.
not sure if it was snap or just low parts count.
if she is following along here, i am sure she will remember.

The boys loved it when they saw the post and I read them your comments. Thanks.
The 'kits' are Corgi toys and no we can't clean them 'cause it wouldn't be REAL!'
I am already finding boxes from my stockpile in their rooms for, you know, safe keeping.
Wink [;)]
Does anyone know of snap-together armor kits? I can only find aircraft. Logan has already completed Revell's Blue Angels.

Brings new meaning to the phrase 'dug in', but I'm sure the Germans only used the turrets in the fixed fortifications , not the whole tank!

Ausf, Just wait til they are old enough to raid your kit stockpile.

hmmmmm let me see, I think there needs to be more people in there.

maybe your sons are still short enough to be almost 1:25 scale-so you can give them tanks they can ride in! maybe 1:16?

The yellow in the backround, sorry to say is a school bus about to catch a HE 8.8 I'm afraid (I can sense my wife's eyes rolling)
Camo is their thing, usually something we need will be 'camoflaged', setting off a long, house wide search. Note: this is from nature, not from my Tiger books.
It's all I can do to keep him from applying the 'rolled armor effect' to our car.Wink [;)]

WOW that looks great, the mud is so realistic.
I think your sons have a great future in model building, or maybe in the army as camo specialists. Wink [;)]Laugh [(-D]Laugh [(-D]

i think even Robert might be hard pressed to locate it. :-)

obviously 2 promising young diorama builders.

I was working on the house (pretty much a given around here) when my two boys came and grabbed me to look at their 'models'. They wanted me to take pictures and send it to 'my friends'.
Well, my friends, here they are;

The top is from Logan, age 4
The bottom from Cole, age 2. (there's a Sherman somewhere near or under the Kubel)
