Thanx all for the comments. I really appreciate it. Sorry no interior pics but there is nothing special inside anyway. My main focus was on the outside. Here is a updated pic of the spare trax weathered a little more. But it still looks pretty plain in the pic but it looks better in real life.Wink [;)]

Thanx again guys.

Keep well.

Very nice build, Artorious! This is your third rank kit? My third tank kit was a complete disaster compared to this. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Are you going to join us on Mad Tiger Day? I don't think your continent is represented yet.

Thanx all for the comments.
Ryan: The thickness is as a result of the heating with a lighter and i also thought they were a bit thick but being only my third tank its all part of the learning experience so to speak. But i will remember that the next time though. Thanx for pointing it out. Appreciate it.
Zokk: Thanx for pointing that out i never thought of it that way.

I plan to make a dio with this Tiger(when feeling brave enough to do it.) I think you could guess the theme of it. Mud Mud and more MUD. Thinking of placing it on a very muddy and rutted road just after the snow starts thawing. Just a thought.

Keep well.

Nice build. You never cease to amaze with the hand painted finishes.
If anything, you may want to either remove some of the mud from the road wheels, or add more mud to the front hull, and the tracks as well, as I assume if so much were to get onto the roadwheels, the tracks themselves would show a little bit of it as well Smile [:)]

Lookin good Artorius! A nice tiger with plenty of mud is nice to see! the only thing though, is the fenders look a little thick. You might of wanted to thin them down, but everything else looks awsome! Keep em' coming!Cool [8D]

Looks pretty good, Craig. You sure beat the crap out of those fenders!! Cool. Especially for plastic parts! One thing I might suggest, and it may just be the pics, would be that the extra track links don't look very rusted. Maybe this is the lighting, or maybe that's the way you want them, but to my way of thinking, the tracks on the turret would rust pretty darn fast. Also, you could streak a little rust down the side of the turret below the tracks. Understand, this is just my opinion. Others would (and will, I'm sure) disagree with me, but that's why were all here.

Really nice job, especially for hand painting. I could never make mine look that good without an airbrush!

Finished Tiger 1 (PICS!) Updated pic on page 2
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 1:07 PM
Hi all
Well this is it. My finished Academy Tiger 1 mid pro 1/35 full int. The kit itself i found to not b that bad. A little cleanup here and there and id say well worth the R200 paid for it. Hand painted with Humbrol Enamel. No aftermarket parts just plain OOB. Gav it an oil wash and some mud courtesy of the front yard mixed with white glue and water, then painted over with Humbrol clear to give it that wet look. And finally scratchbuilt tow cable made from a Power Supply and some thin tubing from Tamiya bike kits.
So please tell me what u think. Any and all comments will be much appreciated.
Thanx for looking.

Pic of it in a mountain pass.
