WWII Locomotive Kits?
Posted by JCon on Saturday, May 8, 2004 12:17 AM
Does anyone know of any decent WWII locomotive kits that are out there that would be worth building? I know about the Leopold cars but how about those engines that pulled these trains all over the war front! My kid brother is into trains and I am into armor so would like to build something out of both areas if it is possible...thanks in advance for the input!Big Smile [:D]

Hi there
Both CMK and Baluard list WWII loco kits in 1:35,but if you wanna build em you'll need a second mortgage to buy em.

I saw these the other day. They are expensive! It is an Australian site, but there are prices in US$ too. There may be other laces that stock these too.

Got to the US$ catalogue, then look for Baluard Trains. I can vouch for this place too, I have had excellent service from them.

The latest Squadron mailing has five WWII German locos from Revell AG. 1/87 listed as a new release. All are $20. Check 'em out, I'm sure they'll be on their website.
