Just saw some info on Tamiya's big new RC 1/16 Leo 2A6 over at Tamiya Japan's website:

Price: 118,000 yen ($1072 USD)

Man-o-man, you can get a real decent used car for that much...Wink [;)]

Ahhh, stop cryin about it. Thats the suggested retail price. Whent he TIger 1 originally came out, it's retail was over a G note. Now, you can get em for about $500. If you truely want it, wait a few months and then order it. I gurantee it will be around the 550-650 price range.

Everyone on every messageboard is crying about the retial price...but in the age of the internet, who pays retail?? I really want this badboy, but i'm surely not gonna pay retail for this tank...i'd rather wait a month or so.

SO, don't sweat the big stuff. Be second in line and save big.

Well Im not "crying" about the price I am just saying that all of the tamiya kits that are of the 2A5 or 2A6 are more pricey than any other tamiya kit in its class.Thats all!!

That'a a lotta Deutsche marks! Especially for a tank that is cool lookin' but unproven.

Hmmmmm maybe we could get a 1/1 from the USSR for the same type of money they seem from other posts to have a lot just laying around.
