I may go to the LHS and pick one up this afternoon , I saw the new DML there a couple weeks ago . There are tons of AM parts for this machine , including some really nice interior kits by czech master and TMD, both look really kool . This is going to be a fun build , and I am looking forward to it !Cool [8D]

Yeah, let's get this thing going! Of course, I'm still waiting on parts for my Stug, so I shouldn't talk! Can't wait to get back into the build.

I believe the start is going to be around august sometime , to give the current builds a chance to wind down . And give everyone a good long chance to get thier gear ! ( if you order from greatmodels now , you may have it in time to start in August )! Just kidding they really do have pretty good service .Cool [8D]

Mike : I think the rules are for any sturm or stug family type assault gun , I am not sure of scale rules here , but any would probably be ok . There are great kits out there for these guys , so it should be a great build .

Good deal on EBAY right now ...... do a search for jaguar stug ..... there is a package deal there , tamiya stug , with jaguar interior, and aber PE for around $66, Jaguar is out of business now I think . Their interior kits alone go for around 35 to 40+ bucks !

I just found about 120 pictures of the munster Sturmtiger on the net and since i happen to have the Tamiya kit that will be my kit. The Tamiya kit with no AM parts except royal models rockets. Only scratchbuilt details on this one. I can't swing another 200 dollar GB project right now... Big Smile [:D]

August is cool... I understand about those who are habitual group builders... we got to give them a chance...

Looking forward to gettin back in the game with some of you from the Panther GB and getting to know some new folks....

LOL. I'm behind on three builds and may not get any of them finished before the D-Day build.

I'm leaning towards my Italeri Sturmtiger with a few am's or my Dragon Stug III late.

Well, I gracefully bowed out of the DDay GB due to some technicalities so after the Small AFV GB I'll be wide open. I, too is STUG-LESS at the moment (boy is that even a valid word?) LOL but I think a Tamiya SturmKitty is somewhere out there.

I am thinking about it. Just imagine the rubble that I would be needing for a dio with a Stumtiger. he-he-he.

Allow me to clarify Dwight,

Stugless is indeed a proper word. By order of me. So is Stugged, by the way, which is what happens when you are no longer Stugless. By oder of the same.

I am a bit undecided, so i might wait til closer to the build and then pick something that is under represented in the build.

Thank you for clarifying that, Matt.

So as I was saying, I am still STUGLESS so I am considering the Sturmtiger for this build.

I guess I'll be STURMED then. LOL.

I cannot speak for the administrators here, but why not any scale as long as it is a sturm or stug ? It really should not be a problem , and makes it interesting !

well, i was not sure if it was wide open on scale, or if they were going to ask for 1/35 only.

i can do either, but since i have to buy it, that Revell kit for less than $11
was looking mighty attrctive!
