Dragon Henschel Tiger II in progress (UPDATED)
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, May 13, 2004 9:26 PM
Here are some pics of my Dragon 1/35 Tiger II.. I am about done with the base build, and will probably finish in a "hard edged" ambush finish.. The model is OOB except for the addition of Friulmodel tracks and wire for the headlamp..
Opinions and comments are welcome...Wink [;)]

I have the base camo on, getting ready to add the rest of the accessories and start decaling and then weathering.. Big Smile [:D]
This has been a REALLY nice build, everything fit really nice and I would definitely say Tamiya now has Competition..lolWink [;)]

Great built. Only one thing I see that is not quite right... They are easy fixes. The insides of the hatches should be exterior colored or at least primer red. They would not be white.

Otherwise its looking awsome an I can't wait to see it finnished... Good going...

Thanks Kenneth, I was wondering about that since most of the pics I have of KTs with the hatches open is after they were already "burned out"..
I am not nearly done with the exterior, I still have all the add-ons, side skirts, and PE to add, but I am pretty much done with the main hull.
Thanks for the comments and support, I'll try and post some more pics later..

No problem Harry, I am really looking forward to your progress. I am working on the Tamiya kit of the same mark right now... Actually I should have made one more statement above. German tanks weren't white inside they were buff. Which is a dirty white almost beige color. I suppose if you weathered up the white it would look pretty close.

Good luck again with the build and keep us posted

and Dragon = Thumbs Up [tup]

That model looks awesome!!!

The camo looks great.
A bit of highlighting and some weathering, and it will be awesome.
