I prefer the 7.62cm version (the H) It is a small but very kool looking machine . And it raised hell with the russians when first encountered, some of the russian tankers thought they got hit by the 88 !

True they are, but the wheels and guns are quite different. I never cared much for the M until I saw Private Ryan and i was hooked. Tongue [:P] I guess it boils down to preference.

Don't go for the M if you are planning on building the Wespe. They have very similar hulls. Variety is the spice of too many cooks or something like that.
Good luck with the kit buying, and after seeing your work on your 251, I look forward to seeing the results.

I think the Marder 3 is overpriced.

Go for the Marder IID Smile [:)]

It's a panzer II lower, with a Pak installed.

I'm building the Marder III M for the D-Day build. It's a nice looking kit. I built the Wespe, also a nice looking kit. Good choices.

Tamiya's Marder III and III M are fantastic. New Mold and pretty good Vinyl tracks.

P.S. Still trying to get back into the swing of things Shermie ;)

The Tamiya MArder kits are excellent ,they have the rubber band type tracks but still quite good ! I would go with one of them. Although the dragon kits are good as well ,( but they will have those nasty indies )Black Eye [B)]

, ive got the Marder IIIM and its ment to be a very good kit without the need for any aftermarket bits (maybe a set of Friumodel tracks)
