This vehicles is currently in operation with the RAAF Airfield Defence at RAAF Base Amberley, this photo and a set of detailed drawings were sent to me by the XO of this Squadron, with the intention to put this vehicle into a resin kit.
The boxes on the front guards are stowing the tripod's of the MG's. It is based on the Series III 110 4x4 Land Drover and totaly different to the Army version of the 4x4, the Army also have a 6x6 in similar configuration.
