Look at what i found. (pics)

Hi all.
Found this in my old room yesterday. I completely forgot that i had it. I know some1 put a post up the other day bout a wooden tank from their Grandfather, and it got me thinking. Then i found this. It was made by my Great Grandfather and given to me by my Grandfather. I dont know what tank it represents, maybe some1 could tell me. I would really appreciate that.Smile [:)]
My Great Grandfather made it a long time ago. I know that he fought in both WW's and i think that this could be WW1 trench art but dont really know. If u look on the front of the turret that little slit is for coins. Yes it is a piggy bank. Wait a minute its a Tanky Bank.Big Smile [:D]LOL

Unfortunately it is a bit damaged.
Thanx for looking.Smile [:)]

Keep well.

Nice piece! Looks like really good craftsmanship.
For it to be trench art I believe it would have to been made literally in the trenches.

That's really cool!

Your great grandfather was obviously quite at home working in wood.
Obviously influenced by a WWI tank, I think the turret with the big main gun was called a 'Schnizelbustenschusser-schwanzlichdinge' by the GermansWink [;)]Wink [;)]Wink [;)]

Again, VERY nice! That one goes on the shelf to be sure!

Thanx all for the comments. Appreciate it. As we speak er type, it is sitting on the bookshelf with the other tanks. And it towers over the rest of them.
