Got a ton of pics of the tiger 1 and 2.
This website is devoted specifically for the tiger 1: http://www.alanhamby.com/tiger.html

This one's got the tiger 1 and 2: http://www.worldwar2aces.com/

Heres some detailed measurement drawings of the tiger 1: http://tiger1.info/

If your looking for paint colors, it really depends what production (early/mid/late) your tiger model is. Early production tigers had a darkish gray. Mid and late versions had dark yellow base coats with red-brown and dark green camo patterns. Look around at pics to see what was typical. What kit is it?

Yeah, that should be painted dark greyish. Tamiya makes a paint color called "German Grey" in acrylic that was made to look like the germans' grey.

Model master Anthercite gray is prettyclose to the Tamiya German gray.

Welcome Blitzer,

You can probably find some good books at the local hobby stores. I picked up two: "Panzer Colors" and the best one "Tiger on the Western Front" by Jean Restayn. Check those ones out among others.
